By some accounts, Folly Beach has become a ghost town. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, our small town is nearly shut down. Typically, during spring break, thousands visit the Edge of America each day. Now, given the traffic restrictions on Folly and businesses shuttering for safety and economic reasons, the streets are ominously quiet. Several restaurants only provide take-out or delivery service out of an abundance of caution. And, as of this writing, these few businesses are considering closing down soon - for safety and economic reasons.
