The Water’s Edge on Folly website main function is to facilitate communication with homeowners and property managers from the HOA Board and between residents of our community. Any information stored or collected is specifically done so to meet the purpose of the website.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; your unit number, phone number (if
provided), any community group(s) you may be part of (e.g. Board, Communications Committee, etc.). We may use software tools to measure and collect session information,including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, feedback, reviews, likes, posts, and personal profile. Our website does not sell products or services and therefore does not include credit card information or purchase history.

When you become a member of our website, as part of the process, we collect your login information (username and password). When you enter personal information in My Account (Profile), the information you provide is stored (i.e. first and last name, phone, email address). However, you have the ability to change your information at any time or to Make Profile Private. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our community website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to create a membership-driven website and communicate with each you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
How do we communicate with your site visitors?
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our community through newsletters, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
